Miss Josie

So, despite the cooler weather I have managed to still get requests for shoots!  (This only matters because I shoot mostly outdoors.)    Anyways - Josie and I got together after rescheduling for rain earlier in the week and it really worked out GREAT.  The weather wasn't too cold, like it could have been.

Josie's one of those girls who just has SOOO much personality that she can't hold it all in.  Here's a few from our session tonight!
Um, yeah LOVED this old OLD coke machine.  Josie - she's the real thing.

Have I ever mentioned that I LOVE the name Josephine?  Always have, ever since Little Women, back in grade school days.

Beautiful smile, on a beautiful girl! Thanks Josie! ♥

*yawn* More of Lace

ETA: I do have to explain the absence of ANY type of happiness in her face.  She's had a super hard week, and it all came to a head that morning.  Due to my inability to drive or see, she had to wait and leave for school (in Wichita, an hour and a half or so away) that morning, instead of going back to my mom's the night before.  So she leaves at 6:40 and about 6 or 8 miles outside of town she got pulled over.  And she was going way fast.  It was her first ever, (AND a big) ticket.  So she went on to school (got a tardy), but then she had to turn around right after school and drive (to the letter of the law) back to Dad's to finish up.  To be honest, I totally thought these pictures weren't going to turn out at all, because she was so......... grouchy.  But this girl can ROCK grouchy. Seriously, I was thrilled with the results.  And we were able to joke about it later.  She was also mad that I made her stand in the rain (which makes our hair, frizzy and flip out).  But we only had one umbrella and I was the one with expensive equipment.  Anyways - she did smile some towards the end.  And it all worked out. Mom and Dad both loved them, so that's good and she's happy with them as well.

Ok - I'm sleepy.  Long weekend, long drive = sleepy me.  But before I go a few more of Lacey's pictures, from our second session....

Kyle :: Senior Pics

Here's a sneak peek at Kyle's Senior Session from tonight!

This was the 2nd picture of Kyle I took, and it's one of my favs, for sure.

Big Wheels on that John Deere.

Kyle plays guitar

And he helps his dad farm.
 He was probably laughing at me and my distaste for the 'creepy crawlies' in there!!

We took lots of these out by their house, on their land.  That place is LOADED with awesome photo opportunities.  I plan to Trash a Dress there once the leaves turn!!

The sunset was GORGEOUS!
On our way back, we noticed this fog that was settling in the low spots.  Kyle was a great sport, because by this point, I had already said "I'm done - I swear!" like 3 other times.....  But the fog was too cool to pass up!

Kyle loves his doggie, too.  I took some of Rusty, but didn't get those done for the sneak peek. Sorry!!
